The Artist - Sarah Sweet
As a mature student Sarah attended Winchester School of Art
to study Textile Design (print) at degree level obtaining
a first class degree, and in the process finding her Abstract
style that was first used as a basis for her furnishing designs.
After leaving Winchester in 1996 she freelanced initially
for a couple of years enjoying success by selling to major
textile manufacturers including amongst others Marks & Spencers.

projects including National Lottery Sponsored Public Art where
she became a member of the Bristol based art group Open City.
In 1998 Sarah designed a range of metal animal garden ornaments which proved to be instantly popular and have been on display at the Chelsea Flower Show.
