About Land/Seascapes

"Living in a rural coastal area ignites my passion for nature and enables me to fully connect with the environment. Light and how it transforms the land and the sea has always held a deep fascination, I particularly enjoy painting the strong coastal light on water, the sea twinkles and shimmers revealing its inner mood.

I love the actual process of painting, mixing visual memories with observations taken from my research sketch books, these are then worked back in the studio, where I use an extensive range of  mixed media and techniques."

Some sea/landscape paintings are available as high quality Limited Edition Giclee Prints on watercolour paper.
